MISSION STATEMENT:
Next to Eli’s flagship store, Eli’s Manhattan, and his W.I.N.E. & Spirits Shop, TASTE is the delicious expression of everything he has learned about food and wine since opening his first shop more than three decades ago. From breads baked at his artisanal bakery, to coffee perfectly roasted at the Vinegar Factory, to fresh lettuces and heirloom tomatoes grown on his rooftop greenhouse, to affordable, distinctive wines from W.I.N.E., every part of the menu has had Eli’s hand in the growing, baking, or selection.

MENU:
Weekdays, the space is a self-service breakfast and lunch café and coffee bar, featuring Eli’s wonderful sandwiches, soups, salads, and pastries.
In the evening we break out the Frette linens for elegant, full-service dinners complete with hand-selected, well-priced wines from our shop. Or try the bar’s small-plates menu with suggested wine pairings.
Weekends, we serve a brunch with all the dishes New York craves, from pancakes and salmon-slathered bagels to meatloaf on an onion roll.
